Follow-Up AuditFollow-up involves your management team responding to the finding statements (“Corrective Action Requests”) presented in your audit report. Management will review its system and amend as necessary to correct the nonconformity with the standard and to prevent recurrence. The lead auditor will need evidence that shows the system has been amended effectively. The evidence will be assessed so that the lead auditor can close out the finding statement, meaning sign off the “Corrective Action Request”. After each finding statement has been followed up in this way, the lead auditor can recommend certification of your management system to the certification standards. Next stage - Certification |
